As many of you know, I am not only a photographer, but a teacher. I am passionate about both, but I am having a difficult time finding a good balance between them. I want to give 110% to both! This is why we are limiting ourselves to only weddings until further notice. We want to continue to love photography as much as we do right now, and I believe that the best way to do this is not to stretch ourselves too thin. This way I will be able to focus only on teaching & the Little Yellow House Brides!
I couldn’t do all of this without my husband! He has kept me sane when I’ve had photos and photos to edit with no end in sight!
We will shoot the remainder of the lifestyle shoots that we have booked, but will book no more starting today. We will, however, hold mini-sessions during typical school breaks so we can fit in those of you who want family & children portraits! We will announce those when the time comes!
This limitation does not include our video business (which I like to include myself in, but it seriously is all Jordan..because he is awesome). It is rapidly growing and accepting new clients everyday! If you are getting married, having a baby, or wanting to gain new business, Jordan is open to accept new clients! He is at a point where he can focus on his passion and talent, which is videography & photography, so he is diving right in!
Jordan and I are eternally greatful for the blessing that is this photography business and how well it has grown. We appreciate every single client that we have had the pleasure of getting to know! You guys are truly special to us!
On to other news:
Jordan and I decided to have a little photo shoot today.
We are, after all, photographers so we thought some nice photos of us would a perfect way to spruce up the new website. Being in front of the camera is not at all the same as being behind it! In fact, it was a little awkward! Let me tell you, clients, I feel your pain!
This is why I try really hard to help my clients relax, and most of the time it’s by laughter at my own expense!
Here are a few of my awkward photos from the day. This just goes to show that sometimes it’s better to stay behind the camera!
That last look is me saying “Really Jordan?! I’m not even ready!”
