Meredith & Kevin were married at Bluff Park United Methodist Church on a gorgeous August day! Although the day was beautiful, we were thankful for the indoor ceremony & reception to escape the heat! There weren’t many spots to take outdoor photos, but we did love the big white door to the old sanctuary!
I just loved all the personal touches to this wedding!! One aspect that I loved, was for Meredith’s friend who was deployed to Afghanistan a while back. In her honor, Meredith wore a bracelet with her name on it and mailed it to her after the ceremony! Meredith’s bouquet held an old pin and locket from her grandparents. Instead of the traditional “bridesmaids on the left, groomsmen on the right”, Meredith was accompanied by her friend, cousin, and 3 brothers at the altar, while Kevin was accompanied by his friends cousins and sister.
Um.. and this is why I love it when couples do the “first look”! So sweet!
What a gorgeous bride!!!
I thought this was funny! The wind kept blowing her veil around, which made for some laughable moments!
So in love!!
I always wanted a brother.
Look how protective they are of their sister! The ceremony was about to begin and they were blocking people from seeing the bride before the big moment!
Loved the decorations!!
Loved this cake!
Have fun in Antigua, you two!!
We hope the island is as good to you as it was to us almost 2 years ago!
